A Family Farm Wedding – Jarratt, Virginia

Molly and Barker were married on June 23rd, 2018 at the Squire Hill Hi family farm in Jarratt, Virginia.

When I first met Molly and Barker during their engagement session (you can find that here), I just *knew* it was going to be such a fun wedding day with them! Especially because of how FUN these two are to begin with!!! I mean, we popped champagne during their engagement session just a few days before the wedding. I mean, what a way to kick off your wedding week!

Moving on to the wedding day itself, PURE MAGIC is what happened I tell you! I know I say that quite often (come on, I am me, haha), but I am not joking when I say it really was pure magic. As we were taking photos of Molly getting ready, the rain clouds barreled over, and did what they set out to do. Rain. Rain. And POUR rain. It was disappointing, but we kept the faith and I am sooooooo glad we did, because JUST before Molly and Barker’s first look, BOOM. SUNSHINE. It was GLORIOUS and we were all SO thankful!!!

As the rest of the day unfolded, Molly and Barker got to see all of their hard work and planning come to fruition in the most beautiful way. Honeylyn, with Kim Moody Design brought their dreams and ideas to life and then some. I mean, not many people would go the extra mile to make a family farm their wedding destination, because there really are *so* many logistics involved, but when something means SO much to you, and you have the sweetest parents, family, and friends to help make it work…it becomes something you will cherish for a life time knowing just how meaningful it really, really was and I am so glad they decided to make it happen, because boy did it happen!

From getting ready at the Squire’s beautiful lake house, to the oh so precious first look. After, arriving at the family farm and seeing every little detail placed oh so carefully, and watching as Molly made her way down the aisle. To the first kiss as husband and wife, and the incredible, incredible band without a single moment passing by that the dance floor wasn’t full of people. To the “You Belong to B” song written by Barker to Molly performed on stage in front of all of their closet family and friends (legit can’t WAIT to see the video of that one!), the night felt like it could last forever, in the best way, and ended with sparklers, fireworks, and the most fun AFTER PARTY!!! Yes, a AFTER PARTY!!!

Molly and Barker, thank you SO much for letting me share in your day! I am SO happy for you both, and SUPER jealous you’re in Italy right now. Never the less, you’re HUSBAND and WIFE and I am so excited to be sharing this blog post full of all the pretty, and such fun memories with you guys!
