A King Family Vineyard Wedding – Crozet, Virginia 

Shelby and Evan were MARRIED on June 9th, 2023 and had the MOST GORGEOUS and packed full of COLOR and LOVE ceremony & reception at King Family Vineyard nestled in the gorgeous mountainous views of Crozet, Virginia.

Ok, first off…my sweet Shelby & freaking over the top funny Evan…I literally miss you guys already and all your friends and all your family. Let me tell you guys…a TIME WAS HAD at this wedding. It was seriously the most gorgeous day and had so much fun and vibrant colors woven in all throughout the day. From the flowers alone to the literal TREES they had brought in as a part of their reception space…wow…it just made my little photog heart SO happy!

If I truly had to pick a favorite wedding of mine of ALL time, this one is it. Not for some of the reasons you may think though! I know it seems cliche, but this wedding gave me life (all my weddings do LOL), but in a way I wasn’t expecting. Shelby and Evan’s energy and vibe were 110% on match with mine. They’re dog people. They planned a stunning wedding. They had a band. All the things. BUT when I say that I truly love every single wedding I do and they’re all my favs, I mean that! This one though…was incredibly special because both Shelby and Evan have lost a parent. Those that know me, know I, too, have lost a parent. This created a mutual unspoken understanding and connect between the three of us that I never knew was possible with a client (turned friend). I truly felt a bond that I have never felt before with a couple. Just knowing both of them couldn’t have one of the people they love the most on their wedding day, was something I truly understood and I was so grateful to be able to understand and be there for them. I was able to show up for them in a way I didn’t know was something my soul needed. We are seriously now FRIENDS and it makes my heart so happy!
