Meet Amanda and Travis!
I am so excited to be sharing their wedding with you all!!! Their fall Greenwood Vineyards wedding was out of this world filled with gorgeous florals by Amanda’s uncle. I mean, I had just take a couple minutes to take it in when I got there. She really had quite the vision when it came to her decoration.
Amanda and Travis have been with me now through their engagement session and Amanda’s bridal portraits. They have been such a joy to get to know. So down to earth and just full of happiness in each other’s love. It’s so important to me that I connect with my clients. Clients are so much more to me than just another date booked on my calendar. They’re geunine friendships means the world and make stye difference in capturing their wedding day.
Again, I am SO excited to be sharing their wedding story with you all!!!
Enjoy!

When and where did you both meet?
It had been about a month after my mom passed away and Johanna decided to get me out of the house. Her brother had been helping at Scottsburg House of Horror and she wanted to go hang by the fire there with them. So, boys being boys, as paint cans were thrown into the fire, I hid behind Travis. Two days later, we were dating and five years down the road… here we are.
When did you know he was the one and vice versa?
Amanda: On our first New Year’s Eve, I was sick and stuck in bed. Instead of Travis going out with his buddies, he brought be Taco Bell and hung out with me. I knew from then on I had someone special.
Travis: When I saw her the first time, I just knew. It was never a specific time, we just clicked from the get-go.
What’s the one thing you both love each other the most for?
Amanda: Travis is one of the most caring people I’ve ever met. He’s got such a big heart and I adore that about him.
Travis: It’s hard to pick just one, but her smile is contagious and she can always make me smile no matter what.
How did he propose?
So, two days before, he had told me he was going to Danville to get something for me. When I arrived at home, he had bought a North Face rain jacket (I assume he was trying to throw me off.) That weekend, we were leaving for a friend’s wedding and he said he had forgotten something in his tackle box. When I looked up, there it was. He was nervous and shaking, but I’m sure he already knew the answer!
