Shadow Creek Wedding – Purceville, VA

Becca + Jake were MARRIED on April 8th, 2023 at one of my ALL time favorite venues in NOVA, Shadow Creek Weddings & Events nestled in the most stunning farm land with views for days!

So, true story…I actually didn’t meet Becca or Jake until the DAY OF THEIR WEDDING!!! Wild, huh? I mean, it actually happens pretty often, but for their engagement session we planned THREE different times, kept getting rained out. So, it just worked out that we swapped for a more fun bride and groom sesh later on, but I think Becca and her mom just knew ME and vice versa just from the vibes and amazing phone calls. Let me tell you, it was truly a blast getting to experience their pure joy for planning the wedding.

The day of the wedding was truly a weekend of pure joy! While the sun didn’t shine, we were truly grateful for a gorgeous cloudy day that made for the most beautiful images of these two. The ceremony was literally so perfect. I remember even stopping and just listening, truly listening to their hand written vows and thinking…”WOW…these two really, truly just have mad love for one another” and that’s the BEST love there is! Their love for hockey, golf, and details were intertwined all throughout the day. I mean, it was just the BEST DAY!!!
