Sara + Dominick // Married

A Berry Hill Mansion Wedding

Sara and Dominick were married on May 28th, 2016 and at Berry Hill Mansion in South Boston, Virginia.

Have you ever had those moments where you meet people for the first time and you’re instantly on the same page?! Well, that is what happened when these two drove into my drive way and stepped on to our sidewalk ever so happily greeted by an anxious Cooper (my sweet pup for those of you who don’t know). As soon as I ran out there to make sure he wasn’t jumping on them (he’s a hugger), I see Sara and Dominick happily embracing him with sweet doggy love! Oh, it was the best! From that moment on, I knew we would have such a blast working together.

Sara and Dominick’s engagement session (you can find that here) was out of this world beautiful. I mean, who doesn’t love a military couple that is head over heels for each other?! I tell you, their wedding day though knocked that completely out of the park. When I arrived at Berry Hill Mansion, I calmly walked up the stairs to find Sara walking around with a HUGE grin on her face and some fun uplifting music playing in the background. Her awesome ladies made the day for her go so smoothly and before we all knew it, they were MARRIED!!!

When and where did you both meet?

2010 in Sangin, Afghanistan while both serving for our country in the Marines.

When did you know he was the one and vice versa?

After how we have come through the bad times, we both just knew that if we could make it through those we had found our someone.

What’s the one thing you both love each other the most for?

He loves me for my attitude and I love him for the unconditional love that he shows to me and my son.

How did he propose?

I woke up one day and he rolled over and said, “I want to get married.”

I will take ALL the shades of pink forever and always!

Dominick did SUCH a good job having Sara’s mother’s diamond made into Sara’s engagement ring!! SWWOOOON!

FAVORITE!

She seriously has the most contagious smile!! First looks with Dad ALWAYS make me cry. Waiting for his future wife! SO sweet! Their black and whites are some of my FAVORITES EVER! Favorite shot, naturally! This. Shot. Ohhhhh. Yes!
