AÂ Hundley Farms Mule Barn Wedding
They were married on October 1st, 2016 and their wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect at the Hundley Farms Mule Barn.
Carla and Josh…these two…SO perfect for each other! I know, I know, I know…I say that about all of my couples you guys and I really believe it’s true for each and every one of them. These two are the perfect balance of what a friendship in a marriage should look like. They have fun and there is never a dull moment, but they also know the serious hard work it takes to make a foundation. They’ve been with me now through their engagement photos (you can find those here) and Carla’s breathtakingly GORGEOUS bridal portraits (you can find those here).
Ever since Carla came over to the house well over a year and half ago to meet for booking their wedding, I just knew their wedding day would be something special. Carla sat in my living room (with a cat in her lap mind you) and told me all the gorgeous details she was planning. Well, it wasn’t until the day of the wedding that I really just SWOONED over what her and her mom had planned together. Carla originally had booked a different venue at the time and decided that this one owned by a family friend that you see here was much more of a perfect fit for her and Josh. I have to agree 110%! I mean, who doesn’t love a pretty rustic red barn?!
The barn was filled with lights twinkling everywhere. The pond was glistening in the background as they said their vows. The decor was…ohhhh…I mean…fresh flowers in a bird cage y’all…GORGEOUS! However, the ONE detail that won me completely over is the fact that Carla wore her mother and aunt’s wedding dress. Altered of course to fit Carla’s style a tad more, but that dress was beyond words. My pictures don’t do it justice for how gorgeous each little stitch was on this piece of gold…just absolutely beautiful. Just like the entire day you guys…
