Meet Lesley and Jude Swanson!
Doesn’t that have a nice ring to it? I sure like to think so! These two have been such SWEET sweethearts since the moment they asked me to be their wedding photographer. It’s no secret that I always feel humbled and honored when someone chooses me for the BIG day. I can’t help but always feel overwhelmed with love, especially with the love these two share.
I’ve been with these two now through their engagement session and Lesley’s bridal session. Again, I can’t express how PERFECT these two are for one another. So sweet…in love…and really long to take care of one another. It’s so special. One of my favorite quotes in life that makes me think of these two is “Two love and be loved is to feel the sun from both sides.” And these two represent that.

When and where did you both meet?
September of 2011 at Averett University in Danville, VA at a chapel service.
When did you know he was the one and vice versa?
Jude:
There was never a specific day or moment it just kind of always felt right for both of us.
Lesley:
When we first started dating I just felt truly safe and comfortable around him, which for me is a really big deal I am sort of shy and nervous person so finding someone I could relax and be my very silly, very awkward self around was such a blessing.
What’s the one thing you both love each other the most for?
Lesley:
Our friendship, it is the foundation of our relationship. We were best friends and just friends for our entire first year of college so I literally got to fall in love with my best friend as cliché as it may sound it is true.
Jude:
When she laughs she sounds exactly like a monkey!
How did he propose?
At Averett University’s 2014 Homecoming on the front steps of Main Building.
