Meet Roxanne and Zach Reeves!
Roxanne and Zach had their Chatmoss Country Club Wedding in Martinsville, Virginia on September 26th, 2015.
Where do I begin? When I first met Roxanne and Zach was during their engagement session (you can find that here). I immediately knew that Roxanne and I would understand each other on a different level. She had a Kate Spade watch on AND Tory Burch shoes, haha! It may sound silly, but those are two things I LOVE so it was so great having that be the icebreaker of our friendship. Throughout their engagement session I was able to get to know them just a little more and see their sweet love for one another, but take that day and times it by…a million and you have the incredible emotion that was their wedding day.
Their wedding day started off with quite a bit of rain which unfortunately put the wedding plans a little off key. I remember Roxanne messaging me and saying “Haha perfect. We just bought $80 worth of umbrellas, clear, pink, navy, everything haha. I’m glad you are down for rainy weather photos. Zach and I are trying to embrace it if it happens.” OF COURSE I was 100% down for rainy photos!!! I was thrilled to hear that from her. Not many people would do that, but Roxanne and Zach were not going to let the rain ruin their fun! Oh, and BOY did we have fun! The reception…oh my!!! SO much fun. Just WAIT until you see the end…

Their Love Story
When and where did you both meet?
We met at local bar through some mutual friends. He asked me out on a date that night, but I turned him down. I don’t think I actually went out on a date with him for another month or two after he asked for the third time to take me to dinner…
When did you know he was the one and vice versa?
Zach
Roxanne
I knew shortly after we started dating. While I was in law school, he was so understanding of my workload and stress. I knew he was fully supportive of me and one of my biggest fans. He really helped motivate me to be where I am today.
What’s the one thing you both love each other the most for?
Zach
She inspires me to be a better person.
Roxanne
His ability to make me laugh or smile. It is impossible to have a bad day with him around.
How did he propose?
That entire day he was acting so strange and secretive. I knew something was up with him but I couldn’t quite figure it out. We had been talking about getting engaged, and I was assuming it would be sometime soon. He came over to my parent’s house when it was just us and the dog and he proposed. My dog Molly was so confused why he got on one knee and wasn’t playing with her. It was sweet and simple. I think the most adoring part of the whole thing is what I found out after. Zach had got the ring that day. He had been talking to my parents and his about how to surprise me and all kinds of grand gestures and ways to do. They thought he was going to wait until the next week and plan something big, but as soon as he was handed the ring he drove straight to my house and proposed. I found it endearing how excited he was to propose to me that he couldn’t wait more than a few minutes to do it.
Enjoy!!!
Here’s the part I told you to get ready for!!! Bohemian Rhapsody as performed by the best wedding reception party goers EVER!!!

“I’m just a poor boy, I need no sympathy
Because I’m easy come, easy go”
“Mama, just killed a man”
“Put a gun against his head
Pulled my trigger, now he’s dead”
“Mama, life had just begun
But now I’ve gone and thrown it all away
Mama, ooo
Didn’t mean to make you cry
If I’m not back again this time tomorrow
Carry on, carry on, but nothing really matters”
“I see a little silhouetto of a man
Scaramouch, scaramouch will you do the fandango
Thunderbolt and lightning very very frightening me
Gallileo, Gallileo,
Gallileo, Gallileo,
Gallileo Figaro – magnifico”
“So you think you can stone me and spit in my eye
So you think you can love me and leave me to die
Oh baby can’t do this to me baby
Just gotta get out just gotta get right outta here”
Seriously this was SOOOOO FUN!!! AH!!! Everyone felt like Rock Stars to say the least!
